| Martin Achatz lives in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with his wife and two-year-old daughter. He teaches technical writing, narrative and descriptive writing, and creative writing at Northern Michigan University (NMU). He will receive his MFA in poetry from NMU in May, 2003.
